Exhibition Branding + Identity Design by Byronc
Graham Burstow photographs of the Gold Coast from the 1960s, 70s and 80s. This branding was designed to convey the curvy nature of the human body and a dedication to 'bad taste' Something that Graham's photographs portray of this nostalgic Gold Coast period.

CUTBACK : SURFING THROUGH ART // Gold Coast City Gallery // Exhibition Identity Design & Branding // February 14 - March 22, 2015
I really enjoyed this project and the design came so natural to me. I was given a lot of freedom to come up with a conceptual concept for he branding of the exhibition. By using the actual action of 'Cutting Back' and stripping back old surf magazines and photos, i came up with the branding and design for the collateral of the exhibition.
FIBRO COAST // Gold Coast City Gallery // Exhibition Branding & Design 2014
Fibre Coast is a really special project that connected with me from the get go. I have lived in Fibro Cottages on the southern Gold Coast since i first migrated here and i feel i share a curtain connection with these houses. Quirky and small, architecturely sound and a true DIY product of the history of colonisation on both the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. The design and branding of this touring exhibition had to have flesh and in particular it had to express a DIY attitude with the materialatity of the houses themselves. By exploring design elements and colours of these hay days i felt the design really came to its own. I also worked closely with local web designer, Bold Italics, to integrate an online website where the users could start to map these fibro houses on our coast line and access the abundant of information and images that came to use before and during the exhibition.
